Disability use text

This is the replacement syringe for the Long Shot syringe. Quick mobility (often on rough or slippery terrain) is required to sort a specific animal from the herd and restrain it to give an injection. As they scuffle around the pen, agitated animals naturally bump into the workers. The Long Shot is a syringe fastened to the end of an adjustable length pole. The animals are more likely to stand still in the herd when the worker is 10-feet away, allowing him to give the injection from a distance without first sorting or restraining the animal. With this tool, a worker who is moving slower than usual or has limited mobility can more safely medicate livestock, often from outside a protective gate.

Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Long-shot Syringe: Ankle Pain, Balance / Core Stability, Diabetes/Diabetic Neuropathy, Heel Spurs, Hip Pain, Knee Pain, Leg Amputation, Lower Extremity Impairments, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Obesity, Old-Age, Replaced Joints (Arthroplasty), Degenerative Joint Disease.
