These JD Added steps with Handrail are very versatile and can easily mount on many types of equipment to make climbing less of a strain for the workers knees and hips. The ladders leading to the operator’s station on many tractors are steep and tall with small surface areas on the steps themselves. In addition, the first step is high off the ground. Such large distances between steps strains the hips and knees, while small step area makes it difficult to stand securely on a step with two feet.
Please Note: For 10-20 row crop series, you need to order the 10-20 adapter bracket.
For added safety, order the Extend-A-Step to fill in the gap between the top step and cab.
The 4th STEP option adds another step to lower the ladder within about 16" of the ground for even easier access.
Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from Added Steps & Hand Rails.
