Disability use text
Workers with hand disabilities have difficulty vaccinating using normal syringes. Multi-dose Pistol Grip syringes can be used with one hand to give accurately measured vaccines to multiple animals without stopping to refill the syringe. Cattle must be given vaccines at least annually, requiring multiple measuring and filling syringes from bottles. This can be difficult to accomplish with one hand. Standard syringes are also difficult to manipulate if a farmer's hand is not fully functional. The repeater syringes are pistol-grip for more comfortable and ergonomic one-hand use.
Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Multi-dose Pistol Grip syringe: Arm Amputation, Low Vision, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome/Repetitive Motion Injury, Hand Injury, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Neuropathy, Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Additional Information
The Hauptner Automatic Syringe possesses the advantage over the normal injection syringe, that once the desired dose has been fixed, the same dose is injected by a simple pressure on the trigger until the syringe is empty. The dosages are 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 cc. |
