Pick-up truck bed access steps help workers with leg impairments to access their cargo area of the truck without taking such a large step or “jumping”. The cargo bed of a pick-up truck is usually 24” to 36” high. To reach something stored in the truck, the worker must climb or jump which may be impossible for someone with a disability. The swing-out pickup truck tailgate step folds under the truck when not in use, and swings out beyond the truck tailgate when needed for climbing. This step does not add to the weight of the tailgate. A worker with a recent knee replacement would find relief utilizing the Pull-out Tailgate Step rather than causing pain in the knee by climbing or jumping to access their cargo area.
Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Pull-out Tailgate Step.
Step in and out of your pickup truck bed easily with the DEBO Step. Use as a tailgate step, a bed step, a hitch step, a footrest or seat. The DEBO Step does not go in the receiver, so your hitch is always available for towing or other receiver-mounted accessories.
